Fast rising fante rapper from Brofoyedur in Cape Coast, popularly known as Wages Rap aka the Rap Jesus has said that the probability of him winning the artiste of year in the upcoming Central Music Awards 2019 is very high considering his works over the year under review.
“Judging from the year under review, i think that I stand tall amongst the selected nominees for that category.
“I have performed on all the big stages of almost all the top events that have been held in the region.
“I can confidently say that amongst all the nominees I am the most featured artiste under the year of review and some of the collabos I have done are even yet to come out.
Wages Rap who made waves last year with his hit single ‘Cape float’ said
“Those who think I came into the music scene not a long ago should know that we’ve been behind the scenes working hard and doing some corrections all these while so actually I’m not a newcomer as some people think”.
He used the occasion to enumerate some benefits he had from attending the CMA Seminar which was organized prior to the opening of nominations and advised his colleagues who don’t attend to seize that wonderful opportunity to get more education and information about the best practices for attaining higher heights in the music industry.
He was speaking in a celebrity interview with Central Music Awards 2019 Nominee, Amansan Krakye, of Radio Central fame in Cape Coast.
