Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has reunited with former Hertha Berlin trainer Dirk Kunert.
Boateng joined the Hertha Berlin academy as a seven-year-old and moved up through the ranks of the club’s youth sides, before breaking into the first-team squad in 2005.
The 34-year-old worked under the German trainer at the club’s youth team and chalked success winning the German championship in 2003.
After several years, the duo has reunited at Hertha Berlin’s training round.
“I was very happy to see him again. He is and remains a great guy and a very good footballer” Kunnert said after meeting Ghanaian forward.
During Boateng’s stint at AC Milan, the 53-year-old visited him in Italy.
