The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has described the Inspector General of Police, IGP Akufo Dampare as a celebrity IGP.
The NDC stalwart was reacting to the attempted arrest of the Member of Parliament for the Madina Constituency, Francis Xaiver – Sosu.
In a twitter post sighted by GhanaPlus.com on Monday, November 1, he said that is what happens when you have a celebrity IGP.
“This is what happens when you have a celebrity IGP who is only interested in media hype; a people who are easily hoodwinked by publicity stunts; and a #SerwaahBroniGov’t that majors in the minors”.
